I'm a certified Meditation and Yoga Trainer, Reiki Healer, and Certified Personal Trainer.
My journey into fitness began during college when someone suggested I join a gym. I gave it a try, but after a month of feeling sore and unguided, I quit. I didn’t understand the benefits, and no one explained them to me.
Five years later, I joined the gym again, this time with the simple goal of getting a toned body. I still didn’t know much about fitness, but over time, I started enjoying my workouts. Going to the gym became a part of my daily routine, and I understood that working out is good for health, but that was the extent of my awareness then.
One day, I decided to try meditating on my own. I stuck with it for a few months and slowly noticed a shift. I felt calmer, more centered, and emotionally lighter. My mind became clearer, and I found myself solving problems more easily. That’s when I realized how powerful meditation is.
I also realized that many people around me were struggling silently, feeling overwhelmed, confused, or sad. I felt a strong urge to help them experience the clarity and peace I had found. But I knew that if I wanted to guide others; I first needed a deeper understanding of myself. That led me to pursue formal training in meditation. During that training, I learned an important truth: to meditate effectively, your body must support you. Sitting still isn’t easy with a weak or stiff body. This realization led me to enroll in an advanced yoga teacher training course, so I could guide others not just through meditation, but also through yoga asanas that prepare the body for stillness.
Around that time, I injured my knee and was unable to continue my gym workouts. This pushed me to study human anatomy, where I truly understood the importance of building strong muscles to support our joints and prevent injury. That’s when I pursued certification as a personal trainer. This journey taught me that real well-being is not about choosing between fitness or mindfulness, it’s about bringing them together. A clear mind and a strong body together help us live a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Sammoksha was born from this understanding. I created it to help others experience this balance, without spending years trying to figure it out alone.
And through it all, one truth stands out to me:
Meditation is not just a practice, it’s a blessing that helps us quiet the noise, find clarity, and connect with our true self.
